AUX VASES: This stone has long been known by many stone masons as one of the best quality and easiest working stones. Named after the Aux Vases River which runs near the quarry site, many of the historic buildings in the town of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, dating as far back as the 1700s, are built of this stone.
